Six Sigma Ranch & Winery is entering one of the most exciting moments of the growing season: bloom. Across the vineyard, delicate grape blossoms are appearing on the vines nearly two weeks ahead of schedule, giving us an early glimpse into what’s shaping up to be a promising 2026 harvest. While bloom is brief, it’s one of the most important milestones in the vineyard calendar—the moment when the year’s crop truly begins to take shape. If conditions continue along this path, we may be looking at an earlier-than-usual harvest this fall. (The wildflowers in the field may not be as “essential” as the blooms on the grape vines, but they are prettier and more colorful).
At the same time, the winery has been buzzing with activity as we recently completed bottling several exciting new wines. Freshly bottled selections include our 2025 Pinot Noir along with the 2024 vintages of Reserve Tempranillo, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Reserve Syrah, Cuvée Annette, and Diamond Mine Red Blend.
Each wine reflects another chapter of the ranch’s ongoing commitment to crafting estate wines that capture the character of our high-elevation vineyards and volcanic soils.
This year also marks an exciting first for Six Sigma: the introduction of our very first Crianza-style Tempranillo. Inspired by Spain’s traditional tiered aging system, the new Crianza now completes our Tempranillo trio alongside our Reserve and Grand Reserve bottlings. The addition allows us to further explore the depth and versatility of this varietal while offering guests a unique opportunity to experience how different aging approaches shape the wine. Release details are still to come, but we’re excited to share more soon.
From vines in bloom to bottles coming off the line, there’s a strong sense of momentum across the ranch this spring—and we can’t wait to share these new wines and the season ahead with you.
