Cowboy Cook-Off July 6, 2013
The Forth Annual Cowboy Cook-Off was another memorable event for Six Sigma Ranch & Winery. The cooking competition is held every year the weekend after the 4th of July between members of the Six Sigma Team.
The grounds were filled to capacity when the guests arrived, many in festive cowboy and cowgirl costumes, vying for prizes at the costume contest. The winners of the costume contest received gift certificates for Pinzgauer tours of the ranch.
This year’s cooks were Matt, winemaker; Walt, sales; and Christian, Vice Precident. The guests sampled the prepared dishes and cast votes for their favorites. The winner, Matt, graciously gave credit to his wife, Nancy, his “beautiful and obviously talented wife.”
The entire Six Sigma staff was working to make another great event, with many family members and friends volunteering. Alma Galvan, a longtime friend of the ranch, joined the cooking team and wowed the crowd with her dish.
The large, ancient old trees shaded the guests as they mingled, sipped award-winning wines and savored the cooks’ creations while listening to Michael Barrish’s original country soul music.
With friends, food, music, and wine, we had another great day at Six Sigma Ranch!
